Nollywood actress Chacha Eke has confirmed the passing of her mother and shared details about the cause of her death.
Earlier, popular gossip blogger Cutie Juls claimed that Chacha Eke’s mother had passed away, suggesting that tensions between the actress and her sister had strained their relationship with their mother.
In a recent video, Chacha Eke addressed the rumors, revealing that her mother died from heart failure.
She disclosed that her mother passed away on February 19, 2025, at around 7:00 a.m., and she received the heartbreaking news through a phone call from her brother.
The actress shared that upon receiving the heartbreaking news, she experienced tremors throughout her body.
Chacha Eke revealed that her brother informed her their mother had developed heart failure around 1:00 a.m., and by the time he delivered the devastating news, her body had already been placed in the mortuary.
She further explained that she chose not to make a formal announcement about her mother’s passing on social media but subtly hinted at it instead.
Meanwhile, fans and industry colleagues have begun sending their condolences to Chacha Eke over the sudden loss of her mother.
