A corps member, known on social media as @bolanlepepperthem, recently shared her frustration with the outcome of a khaki trouser she had tailored for her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) uniform. She had hired a tailor to make the trousers, hoping for a well-fitted piece suitable for her service.
However, when the tailor finally delivered the trousers, she was far from satisfied with the result. The disappointment was evident as she shared her experience online. In a video posted to her social media account, she expressed her dismay over the tailor’s work.
The video showed the young lady checking herself out in the mirror, clearly unhappy with what she saw. Instead of the expected snug fit, the tailor had made the trousers in a ‘Palazzo’ style, which is characterized by a wide, flowing leg.
Her lamentation was both humorous and relatable, as she pointed out the stark difference between what she had envisioned and what was delivered. The incident quickly gained attention online, with many empathizing with her plight and sharing similar experiences with tailors.
